Jeddah: Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif Al Alsheikh welcomed Kosovo's Grand Mufti and Head of the Islamic Community Sheikh Naim Ternava and his delegation in his office today. The visit marks a significant step in strengthening ties between the Islamic communities of Saudi Arabia and Kosovo.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting served as a platform for exchanging cordial discussions and exploring topics of mutual interest, particularly in Islamic affairs and cooperation across various Islamic fields. Both leaders emphasized the importance of collaboration in promoting Islamic values and supporting the global Muslim community.
During the discussions, Sheikh Dr. Al Alsheikh lauded the efforts of Saudi Arabia's leadership in serving Islam and Muslims worldwide. He highlighted the Kingdom's dedication to supporting the Two Holy Mosques, catering to the needs of pilgrims and Umrah performers, and upholding the principles of moderation and tolerance.
Sheikh Naim Ternava, on his part, expressed gratitude to the Kingdom and its leadership for their enduring support to Muslims, particularly the assistance provided to Kosovo's people over the years. He also acknowledged the significant development and progress Saudi Arabia has achieved in multiple sectors, reflecting the country's commitment to its Islamic responsibilities.
