Madinah: Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif Al Alsheikh inaugurated the Awareness and Guidance Exhibition for the Umrah Season 1447 AH during his visit to Madinah Region, where the exhibition highlights the ministry’s digital transformation strategy in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the exhibition is strategically located in the courtyards of Madinah’s landmark mosques, including Quba, Al-Khandaq, Sayyid Al-Shuhada, and Qiblatain, as well as at the Miqat site. It offers visitors an innovative blend of traditional Islamic scholarship and modern technology, enhancing the spiritual journey of pilgrims.
Visitors to the exhibition have the opportunity to explore a vast collection of Holy Quran translations and publications from the King Fahd Complex. Furthermore, interactive electronic applications are available, featuring the Rushd app, which provides an e-Quran, prayer times, and Qibla direction. A notable highlight is the 3D virtual Hajj experience, accessible in multiple languages including Arabic, English, French, and Urdu.
The exhibition also includes interactive library screens that allow pilgrims to download scientific and educational materials directly to their mobile phones, ensuring that knowledge and guidance are easily accessible to all attendees.
