Bangkok: Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif Al Alsheikh engaged with a group of preachers and imams who graduated from Saudi universities in countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). The meeting occurred in the Thai capital, Bangkok, where participants attended the 3rd ASEAN Countries Conference, Khair Ummah, organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs. Dr. Al Alsheikh led the Kingdom's delegation at this significant conference.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Dr. Al Alsheikh emphasized the unwavering support the ministry receives from the Kingdom's leadership, which aligns with Saudi Arabia's mission of serving Islam and Muslims. He highlighted various programs and activities, including conferences and seminars, that aim to promote Islam's values of tolerance and moderation, rooted in the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah.
Dr. Al Alsheikh underscored the significance of Dawah, a mission shared by messengers and prophets, stressing the importance of preachers adhering to the authentic Islamic teachings revealed to the Prophet Mohammed. He also addressed the seriousness of actions that contradict the true Islamic faith and highlighted the necessity of guiding and advising people with wisdom and sound preaching.
