Jeddah: Chairman of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group Dr. Muhammad Al Jasser met yesterday with World Bank Managing Director of Operations Anna Bjerde in Jeddah to discuss cooperation among member countries. According to Saudi Press Agency, they reviewed progress under their existing Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and explored ways to enhance coordination in supporting capacity building, resilience, and sustainable development. Discussions also focused on empowering emerging market economies and strengthening development finance to address global economic challenges. Al Jasser highlighted the importance of mobilizing resources, exploring innovative financing mechanisms, and fostering partnerships to bridge development funding gaps and advance the Sustainable Development Goals.
