Vienna: Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group President Dr. Muhammad Al Jasser met today with Azerbaijani Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov on the sidelines of the 20th annual meeting of the Arab Coordination Group in Vienna, Austria. The meeting focused on strengthening ties and cooperation between the IsDB Group and Azerbaijan.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the discussions centered around preparations for the IsDB Group's 2026 Annual Meetings, which Azerbaijan will host. Dr. Al Jasser expressed the IsDB Group's commitment to supporting Azerbaijan's infrastructure and development priorities, as well as initiatives related to Islamic finance, Sukuk issuance, and reverse linkage. He also acknowledged Azerbaijan's dedication to hosting the upcoming IsDB annual meetings.
