The Greater Irbid Municipality (GIM) warned 315 establishments within the municipality's borders during last September, according to Director of Health and Environmental Affairs Department, Yahia Omari. In a statement Sunday, Omari said the municipality issued health violations against 60 establishments within the municipality's borders, adding that a total of 525 field visits were made during the same month. Omari stated that the department addressed a total of 27 complaints during the last month, while 12 businesses and individuals were referred to the governor to take the necessary legal and administrative action for their violations. On future steps, Omari indicated that the department will continue to intensify its monitoring campaigns on the establishments. Source: Jordan News Agency
