Prime Minister of Iraq Mohammed Shia Al Sudani discussed in a phone call on Monday with Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament Nabih Berri the developments in the region, the regional and international efforts to stop the Israeli aggression against Lebanon, and the genocidal war on the Gaza Strip. During the call, Al Sudani emphasized Iraq's stance in support of those efforts and everything that would stop the war and establish security and stability in the region. He pointed out the importance of the international community playing its humanitarian and legal role for preventing the continuation of aggression, in addition to the role of international institutions and major countries in preserving and protecting peoples.
