According to Saudi Press Agency, Sabah al-Numan, the spokesman for the Iraqi prime minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Iraqi Armed Forces, expressed the government's rejection of any escalation in military and hostile actions, especially those impacting civilians and civilian infrastructure.
The Iraqi statement emphasized the need for an immediate cessation of military hostilities to protect civilians and safeguard civilian facilities, urging for the protection of the broader regional community from such adverse consequences.
