Baghdad: The Republic of Iraq strongly condemned the provocative statements made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
According to Saudi Press Agency, in a statement issued today, the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs unequivocally rejected the remarks as a blatant violation of Saudi Arabia's sovereignty, an assault on the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, and a breach of international law and the UN Charter.
Iraq expressed its full solidarity with Saudi Arabia, emphasizing its security and territorial integrity. It stressed its firm support for the security and stability of nations and its refusal to undermine the national sovereignty of any state.
