Riyadh: iot squared, a subsidiary of stc Group, announced the launch of the Nucleus Twin at LEAP26. This add-on to the "Nucleus" smart operations platform offers advanced features powered by digital twin technologies and AI. This development represents a qualitative leap from operational intelligence to a new level of spatial operational intelligence.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the new system enables the creation of live digital models of cities, destinations, and mega-projects, providing a comprehensive, real-time view of assets, operations, and associated data. The applications of the Nucleus Twin system extend across a wide range of sectors and assets, including cities, municipalities, buildings, mega-projects, residential and commercial complexes, and industrial projects and facilities.
The system also supports transportation and traffic management, security and safety, environmental sustainability, tourism and guest experience, energy and utilities, and emergency response. The system can also be deployed across mega-projects without the need for repeated aerial photography. Its architecture incorporates requirements related to cloud computing, cybersecurity, and national data sovereignty, supporting deployment in critical locations.
In addition, the system enables digital models to be created and operationalized within a short timeframe, progressing from satellite imagery to fully integrated, live digital models.
