Investment Minister to Lead High-Level Delegation to Japan for Strategic Partnership Talks

Riyadh: Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih will lead a high-level delegation from both the public and private sectors on an official visit to Japan from September 22 to 24, 2025. The visit aims to strengthen and advance the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries, focusing on priority investment sectors.

According to Saudi Press Agency, during the visit, Minister Al-Falih will engage with government officials and major private sector companies. The schedule includes the 8th Saudi-Japan Vision 2030 Ministerial Meeting in Tokyo, where progress will be reviewed, previous initiatives updated, and new areas of cooperation agreed upon.

Minister Al-Falih will also preside over the celebrations of the Saudi Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka on the occasion of the Kingdom's 95th National Day. He is expected to tour various pavilions and the international exhibition.

On the sidelines of the official visit, several high-level Saudi-Japanese roundtable meetings will be organized. These meetings will include senior officials and leading companies from both sides, focusing on investment opportunities and new partnerships across different economic sectors.

Additionally, the largest Saudi-Japan Investment Forum of its kind will take place in Osaka, drawing participation from over 1,500 individuals across priority investment sectors from both countries.

Minister Al-Falih's visit is part of the Saudi-Japan Vision 2030, established during the visit of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to Japan in 2016. This vision supports mutual interests in economy, trade, industry, security, and culture by aligning opportunities with Saudi Vision 2030 and Japan's economic reform initiatives.
