International Nursing Conference Recommends Leveraging AI in Healthcare

Jeddah: Recommendations issued at the inaugural International Nursing Conference 2026, which concluded yesterday in Jeddah, emphasized the importance of advancing scientific research and innovation in nursing, expanding continuous training and professional development programs, and promoting the adoption of digital solutions and artificial intelligence (AI). The recommendations also called for enhancing the quality of healthcare and the efficiency of clinical practices to support the delivery of safe, high-quality healthcare services.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the event was organized by King Fahd General Hospital in Jeddah, a member of the Second Jeddah Health Cluster. The two-day conference explored the latest technologies and AI applications in nursing practice. It also addressed patient safety, healthcare quality, and the presentation of leading local and international research and experiences.

Conference sessions and workshops focused on empowering the nursing workforce, managing critical care cases, advancing the healthcare model, utilizing digital technologies to improve clinical performance, enhancing the preparedness of healthcare facilities to respond to crises and emergencies, and reinforcing sustainability principles in nursing practice.
