Riyadh: The Standing Committee of International Humanitarian Law has formalized a collaboration with Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University through a memorandum of understanding aimed at enhancing awareness and understanding of International Humanitarian Law. This partnership seeks to enrich academic research, facilitate joint training programs and workshops, and foster the development of specialized knowledge resources. Additionally, the initiative is dedicated to building the capacities of national talents in this critical field.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the agreement was signed at the university's headquarters by Dr. Fawzia Al-Amro, Acting President of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, and Dr. Jalal Alowaisi, Chairman of the committee and President of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority. This collaboration underscores the committee's commitment to engaging with the academic sector to align with national priorities concerning International Humanitarian Law.
