International Dates Council Wraps Up Successful Participation in New York Fancy Food Show

New york: The International Dates Council concluded its participation yesterday in the 68th edition of the Summer Fancy Food Show 2026 in New York, in cooperation with the National Center for Palms and Dates, as part of the Saudi pavilion at the exhibition, with Saudi Arabia participating as the event's guest of honor.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the participation featured a series of meetings with leading dates importers, company representatives, and distribution chains from the United States and international markets. These meetings showcased date products from the council's member states and explored investment and commercial opportunities, as well as ways to expand cooperation and open new channels to promising international markets.

The council also highlighted its efforts to develop the palm and dates sector, improve product quality, and enhance competitiveness. It introduced initiatives and programs aimed at supporting cooperation among member states and promoting the exchange of expertise through informational materials and interactive content made available to visitors at the pavilion.

The council's pavilion attracted strong interest from visitors and food industry specialists. Meetings held by the council's delegation helped expand its network of relationships with international importers and buyers, supporting efforts to open new markets for date products and boost their presence in global markets.
