International Dates Council Explores Global Cooperation with Ministers and Delegations at Fifth Session in Riyadh

Riyadh: Executive Director of the International Dates Council (IDC) Princess Sarah bint Bandar bin Abdulaziz held a series of bilateral meetings with agriculture ministers and international delegations participating in the council's fifth session in Riyadh to discuss strengthening cooperation and developing value chains in the date and palm sector.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Princess Sarah met with agriculture ministers from Iraq, Tunisia, and Sudan to explore collaboration in date production, artificial intelligence technologies, support for small producers, and sustainability of value chains, as well as expanding global market access. She also met with the delegation of the Chinese Academy of Tropical Agricultural Sciences to discuss integrating date-related nutritional awareness programs into schools.

These meetings come as part of the IDC's efforts to enhance global partnerships, improve production quality, strengthen sustainability, and expand cooperation among member states.
