Riyadh: Under the patronage of Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Ministry of Interior and the General Authority for Awqaf have signed a cooperation agreement aimed at enhancing collaboration in areas related to the Makkah Route initiative. According to Saudi Press Agency, the agreement was signed in Riyadh by Lt. Gen. Sulaiman Al-Yahya, Chairman of the Supervisory Committee of the Makkah Route initiative, on behalf of the Ministry of Interior, and Emad Alkharashi, Governor of the General Authority for Awqaf. This strategic partnership seeks to bolster coordination and integration efforts in the execution of the Makkah Route initiative. The agreement outlines plans to establish temporary centers at airports in beneficiary countries. These centers are intended to streamline and facilitate the entry process for pilgrims traveling to the Kingdom, thus ensuring a smoother and more efficient experience.
