Integrated Carpet Care System Supports Large Crowds at Prophet’s Mosque During Ramadan

Medina: The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque has intensified its carpet maintenance program to accommodate the high volume of worshippers during Ramadan, where specialized teams execute a daily operational plan that includes laying, cleaning, and sanitizing carpets across all prayer areas.

According to Saudi Press Agency, this systematic approach ensures the mosque remains prepared to receive large numbers of visitors while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene. Maintenance tasks include continuous daily sweeping and regular disinfection using specialized, safe materials to protect public health. Additionally, the carpets are periodically perfumed with premium fragrances, such as oud and amber, to enhance the spiritual atmosphere and tranquility of the sanctuary.

These efforts are part of a broader integrated service system designed to preserve the mosque's purity and readiness throughout the holy month.
