Riyadh: The Health Holding Company (HHC) and its affiliated health clusters started receiving all citizens and residents across regions and cities of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia wishing to donate blood, following the example of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, who donated blood yesterday as part of the annual blood donation campaign His Royal Highness launched.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the HHC explained that blood donation will effectively support healthcare efforts to sustain the quality and efficiency of services provided to beneficiaries and enhance their quality of life, in line with the objectives of the Health Sector Transformation Program, one of the initiatives of Saudi Vision 2030.

Appointments can be booked at the nearest Blood Donation Clinic through the Sehhaty platform or by visiting blood donation centers in hospitals and medical cities affiliated with the health clusters. The company praised the community responsibility of donors and their vital role in supporting the health system through blood donation, which is considered one of the noblest forms of humanitarian giving. Their contributions help save the lives of patients and the injured and provide integrated healthcare within the pathways of the Saudi Model of Care.

The initiative of HRH the Crown Prince continues the humanitarian endeavors of the wise leadership, including receiving the COVID-19 vaccine and registering in the organ donation program, reflecting a steadfast commitment to safeguarding human health and improving quality of life.
