The Research, Development, and Innovation Authority yesterday held the National Semiconductor Hub Investment Forum 2024 at The Garage in Riyadh. The forum aimed to establish a national ecosystem for the development of the semiconductor industry by building effective partnerships that attract international and local investments. It also sought to enhance the industry's role in advancing the digital economy, reaffirming the Kingdom's leadership in global innovation-driven transformation to shape the future of emerging technologies. The forum highlighted the pivotal role of Saudi Vision 2030 in supporting innovation in this sector and showcased the contributions of the National Semiconductor Hub in attracting talent, qualifying national expertise, and providing incentives and funding. It also offered startups the opportunity to present their innovative solutions in the field of semiconductors, shedding light on the Kingdom's interest in artificial intelligence and software development.
