Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef, who is currently on an official visit to Spain, held meetings today in Madrid with Spanish Minister of Industry and Tourism Jordi Hereu and Minister of Economy, Trade, and Business Carlos Cuerpo to discuss strengthening economic ties and attracting Spanish investment to Saudi Arabia. During his meeting with Hereu, Alkhorayef emphasized Saudi Arabia's commitment to enhancing relations and exploring cooperation opportunities with Spain. He highlighted the goals of Vision 2030, which focus on diversifying the Saudi economy and attracting foreign investment to the industrial and mining sectors, outlining the incentives and resources available to investors. With Cuerpo, discussions centered on industrial and mining cooperation, including establishing joint research and development centers focused on manufacturing and mining innovation, developing technological capabilities, and exploring opportunities in mineral exploration and extraction while adher ing to environmental sustainability standards.
