Riyadh: Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef inaugurated the international exhibition accompanying the fifth edition of the Future Minerals Forum, in the presence of several ministers, senior officials, and CEOs of major mining and industrial companies from around the world.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the exhibition serves as a global platform, gathering over 285 sponsors and exhibitors representing key players in the mining and minerals sector. This event spans the entire value chain, from exploration and extraction to processing and manufacturing, demonstrating its comprehensive scope.
This year's exhibition features significant international participation, with official national pavilions from 11 prominent mining countries: Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Sweden, Austria, Brazil, Egypt, Morocco, and Pakistan. This diverse representation underscores the event's global significance.
The exhibition is segmented into four main zones, each offering distinct experiences for visitors and investors. The 'Outdoor Exhibition' showcases the largest heavy machinery employed in mining operations, while the 'Tech Hub' presents cutting-edge digital innovations and AI solutions transforming the industry.
Additionally, the 'Indoor Exhibition' hosts pavilions for leading global and local companies, and the 'Exploration Zone' highlights startups and small exploration firms pivotal in future mineral discoveries. This arrangement provides a holistic view of the industry's future.
The event's opening also coincided with the fifth International Ministerial Meeting, which gathered ministers and senior officials from over 100 countries, emphasizing the forum's importance on the international stage.
