Riyadh: Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef met with German Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy Katherina Reiche at the ministry's headquarters to discuss the strengthening of economic ties and explore investment partnership opportunities in the industrial and mining sectors.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Minister Alkhorayef reviewed the objectives of the National Industrial Strategy, emphasizing the promising investment opportunities available across priority industrial sectors. He highlighted the ongoing transformation and development in Saudi Arabia's mining sector, which offers unique investment opportunities for global companies at all stages of mining.

The minister outlined Saudi Arabia's strategic advantages and the competitive features of its investment environment, positioning the Kingdom as a promising global investment hub. He noted the geographical advantage of Saudi Arabia, connecting three continents, and the incentives provided by the Kingdom's industrial and mining ecosystem to facilitate the investment journey for both local and international investors.

The meeting also included discussions on developing cooperation in advanced manufacturing and building and enhancing human capital in the industrial and mining sectors. This involves equipping the workforce with high-level skills in accordance with global best practices.
