Riyadh: The Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) convened a meeting today at its headquarters in Riyadh to present a series of intellectual initiatives aimed at enhancing collaboration with its member states. The meeting was attended by IMCTC Secretary General Maj. Gen. Mohammed Al-Moghedi and representatives from various member states.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the coalition highlighted the Idmaj (Integration) Initiative during the event. Dr. Mansour Al-Qarni, Director of the Intellectual Administration at IMCTC, explained that the initiative seeks to draw on successful case studies and global best practices. It aims to establish a model program focusing on the psychological, social, and religious rehabilitation of individuals impacted by extremism.

The initiative involves training and capacity-building programs for professionals in the field. It also offers specialized consultation services and training courses designed to develop a comprehensive rehabilitation and reintegration program.

This initiative is part of the coalition's broader intellectual and media efforts to combat terrorism. It complements ongoing work in countering terrorism financing and military operations, thereby supporting the coalition's overarching strategic goals.
