Makkah: The Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque announced that Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais will be the imam for the Eid Al-Fitr prayer and deliver the sermon at the Grand Mosque in Makkah at 6:30 am. Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Al-Buaijan will be the imam for the Eid Al-Fitr prayer and deliver the sermon at the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah at 6:30 am.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the announcement comes as part of the preparations for the Eid Al-Fitr celebrations, which mark the end of Ramadan. The selection of imams is considered a significant part of the religious observance, with both Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais and Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Al-Buaijan being well-respected figures in religious circles.
