Dar es Salaam: The Imam and Khatib of the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah, Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Al-Buaijan, delivered the Friday sermon today at the Grand Mosque of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. This significant event marks a part of a broader initiative aimed at strengthening ties with Muslim communities worldwide.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Dr. Al-Buaijan’s visit to Tanzania is part of a program managed by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance. The program seeks to foster communication with Muslim communities and promote the values of moderation and tolerance. During his sermon, Dr. Al-Buaijan emphasized that Islam is fundamentally a religion of guidance, where belief, behavior, and ethics play a crucial role.
Dr. Al-Buaijan further elaborated on the importance of the morals taught by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), particularly in interactions with people of various faiths. He stressed that Islam is characterized by mercy, moderation, and balance across all facets of life, highlighting the universal and inclusive nature of its teachings.
