The coach of Egypt’s national football team, Ihab Galal, is close to leaving his position after Egypt’s loss in a friendly match against South Korea on Tuesday.
The Egyptian national football team lost to South Korea, 4-1, during the friendly match that was held in the Korean capital, Seoul, on Tuesday.
Al-Masry Al-Youm learned that Galal bid farewell to the players inside the dressing room after the loss to South Korea, and thanked the assistant staff.
President of the Egyptian Football Association, Gamal Allam, had announced earlier the dismissal of Galal in televised statements, before retracting it in an official statement.
