Riyadh al-khabra: The iftar project, implemented by the association for Dawah, guidance, and community awareness in Riyadh Al-Khabra, has epitomized the values of solidarity and compassion within Saudi society for over 30 years during Ramadan.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the annual project provides daily iftar meals to fasting individuals at several key locations, with a focus on expatriate communities and other beneficiary groups. Vice Chairman of the association's board of directors, Omar Al-Araj, stated that the project has served more than 500,000 fasting individuals, supported by over 200 dedicated volunteers.
He emphasized that the program extends beyond providing iftar meals. Before iftar, brief awareness sessions are offered in multiple languages, highlighting the virtues of Ramadan, the significance of fasting in Islam, and the importance of dedicating this holy month to worship and good deeds.
