ICAIRE and Google Collaborate to Offer AI Training to Saudi University Students

Riyadh: The International Center for Artificial Intelligence Research and Ethics (ICAIRE), under the supervision of UNESCO, has partnered with Google to provide university students in Saudi Arabia with access to Google AI Pro. This service will be available at no cost for one year, aiming to enhance students' proficiency in artificial intelligence and promote research and innovation opportunities.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the initiative will include in-person workshops at multiple universities across Saudi Arabia, complemented by virtual sessions for others. These educational sessions will be delivered by Gemini Academy. Registration is currently open to all university students in the Kingdom and will remain so until November 3

Google AI Pro offers an array of advanced tools and features such as Gemini 2.5 Pro, the Veo 3 video generation tool, and the Deep Research feature. Additionally, it includes productivity solutions like the integration of Gemini with Gmail and Docs, as well as 2 TB of cloud storage through Google Drive. The program is designed to equip students with state-of-the-art AI resources, enhancing their ability to innovate and improve their digital productivity skills.
