Seoul: Hyo Joo Kim has defended her title at the Aramco Korea Championship, part of the Public Investment Fund (PIF) Global Series, marking her 25th professional victory. Kim fired a three-under 69, finishing seven under par at New Korea Country Club.
According to Saudi Press Agency, this win marks Kim's second victory of the 2025 season, following her triumph at the Ford Championship presented by Wild Horse Pass as part of the LPGA Tour, and her third in the Ladies European Tour (LET).
Golf Saudi CEO Noah Alireza emphasized that 2025 promises to be an exciting year for women's golf, noting that the conclusion of the PIF Global Series in Seoul represents a significant step towards its future. He underlined the growing momentum and commitment to expanding sports investments, enhancing the game's foundations, and solidifying its status as an inclusive and sustainable sport.
The championship is organized by Golf Saudi as part of the newly named PIF Global Series, which consists of five tournaments in collaboration with LET and the PIF as title partner.
