The Cabinet expressed condemnation of continued attacks by the Houthi militia on civilians in Saudi Arabia, affirming the nation's right to defend its sovereignty per international law and the UN Charter.
The Cabinet examined developments both regionally and globally, reiterating Saudi Arabia's commitment to peace and security through international dialogue and cooperation. This includes the outcomes of Saudi Arabia's role in the 18th BRICS Summit in New Delhi, highlighting the Kingdom's dedication to fostering global partnerships and supporting international development and stability.
The session also reflected on Saudi Arabia's contributions at the 70th Regular Session of the International Atomic Energy Agency General Conference. The Kingdom's statement emphasized its role as a stable energy source and commitment to a sustainable energy mix, including nuclear energy.
The Cabinet welcomed the Fourth UNESCO Global Forum on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence hosted by Saudi Arabia, underscoring the nation's commitment to ethical AI use. The session concluded with decisions on international cooperation, including agreements with Ireland, the Institute of Internal Auditors, Kazakhstan, Bahrain, and Kuwait, aimed at enhancing investment, industry, and information exchange.
