Riyadh: Minister of Municipalities and Housing Majed Al-Hogail received Founder and Chairman of the Korean company NAVER, Lee Hae-jin, during the Cityscape Global Exhibition 2025 in Riyadh. The meeting aims to strengthen the existing partnership between the ministry and NAVER in the fields of innovation and digital transformation.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the two leaders discussed opportunities to expand cooperation in the field of stable digital currencies linked to real estate investment and other economic sectors. They also deliberated on advancing joint work on a data center development project.
The discussions further explored prospects for enhancing research and development cooperation in emerging technologies. This includes supporting exchange and collaboration programs between the Kingdom and Korea in scientific and technological fields.
The meeting builds on the international partnerships the ministry is developing, reflecting its commitment to attracting advanced technologies and innovative digital solutions. This aligns with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to advance the municipal and real estate sectors.
