Hot Weather and Thunderstorms Expected Across Saudi Arabia

Riyadh: The National Center for Meteorology has forecast hot to extremely hot weather in parts of Eastern, Northern Borders, Riyadh, Makkah, and Madinah regions. Dust-stirring winds are also expected in these areas, as well as in Al-Jouf, Tabuk, and Hail regions.

According to Saudi Press Agency, thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds are anticipated in the southwestern highlands of the Kingdom. Winds over the Red Sea will be northwesterly to westerly, at speeds of 20-40 km/h, with waves ranging from one to two meters, indicating a relatively calm sea.

In the Arabian Gulf, winds are expected to be northwesterly to westerly, at speeds of 15-35 km/h. The waves may reach half a meter to one and a half meters, and the sea will remain calm.
