Riyadh: The National Center for Meteorology has forecast hot to extremely hot conditions in the Eastern Region for Sunday. Dust-stirring winds are anticipated in several areas, including the Northern Borders, Al-Jouf, Tabuk, Madinah, Hail, Al-Qassim, Riyadh, Najran, and Makkah regions, as well as the southwestern highlands of the Kingdom. Additionally, thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds are expected over the Aseer and Jazan regions.
According to Saudi Press Agency, wind patterns over the Red Sea will vary. The northern part will experience southeasterly to southwesterly winds at speeds of 12-30 km/h, while the central and southern parts will see northwesterly to westerly winds at speeds of 18-38 km/h. The Red Sea's waves may reach between half a meter to one and a half meters, maintaining calm sea conditions.
In the Arabian Gulf, winds are predicted to be northwesterly to westerly at speeds of 15-30 km/h. Similar to the Red Sea, waves are expected to range from half a meter to one and a half meters, with the sea remaining calm.
