Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Khaled Abdel Ghaffar on Saturday 18/12/2021 held a virtual meeting with representatives of the World Bank.
During the meeting, the minister hailed the World Bank’s important role in supporting sustainable development plans in Egypt, including reforms aimed to improve and modernize educational systems.
The World Bank is a global development partner in building a high-quality knowledge base in Egypt, he said.
The two sides discussed mechanisms to develop digital skills, raise the efficiency of university hospitals to improve medical services provided to citizens and develop curricula in line with the requirements of the local, regional and international labour market.
