Higher education min., Armenian ambassador probe bilateral cooperation

Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Khaled Abdel Ghaffar met on Tuesday 8/2/2022 with Armenian Ambassador in Cairo Hrachya Poladian to discuss means of fostering cooperation between both countries in the higher education and scientific research fields.

The higher education minister congratulated the Armenian ambassador on assuming his new post in Egypt, asserting his ministry’s keenness to boost mechanisms of joint cooperation between the two countries.

Abdel Ghaffar said his ministry is keen to offer all aspects of support to Armenian students enrolled in Egyptian universities and remove all obstacles that may face them.

The meeting touched on issues of bilateral cooperation between Egypt and Armenia mainly as regards exchanging students and recognition of academic degrees.

Meanwhile, the Armenian ambassador affirmed his country’s keenness to consolidate cooperation with Egypt, mainly in the fields of higher education, science and technology among others of mutual interest.

Armenian universities seek to further coordination with the Egyptian universities to exchange expertise between professors and students in both countries, he said.
