Riyadh: The National Center for Meteorology has issued a weather forecast indicating moderate to heavy rain, which could lead to flash floods in the Eastern and Riyadh regions. This precipitation may also be accompanied by hail and winds that stir up dust.
According to Saudi Press Agency, other regions such as Najran, Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, and Makkah might experience light to moderate rain. Additionally, fog formation is possible in these areas. Gusty winds that stir up dust are expected to affect the Qassim, Hail, and Al-Jouf regions.
The forecast for the Red Sea indicates northwesterly to northerly winds with speeds ranging from 20 to 50 km/h. Wave heights are predicted to vary from one to two and a half meters, resulting in calm to choppy sea conditions.
In the Arabian Gulf, the northern and central parts will experience northwesterly to northerly winds, while the southern part will have northwesterly to northeasterly winds at speeds between 12 and 50 km/h. Wave heights could range from half a meter to two and a half meters, with the sea conditions being calm to choppy.
