Mecca: The General Authority for the Care of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque has introduced a range of healthy iftar meals for worshippers in the Grand Mosque's courtyards. Low-calorie options account for 20% of individual meals and 30% of those distributed by charitable organizations and endowments.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the initiative also provides specialized meals designed to accommodate diverse dietary needs, such as those for people with disabilities, chronic illnesses, and special needs. These meals, distributed in the King Fahd Expansion and the Third Saudi Expansion, are prepared under the supervision of a medical team from Al-Shifaa Association to ensure their suitability for the target groups.
This service reflects Saudi Arabia's commitment to the well-being of Umrah performers and visitors, offering free, high-quality meals that enhance their experience at the Grand Mosque in an atmosphere of comfort and reassurance.
