Riyadh: The Ministry of Health, in strategic partnership with the Center for National Health Insurance, is preparing to launch the eighth edition of the Ada'a Health Award, an initiative that promotes continuous improvement across healthcare facilities and encourages the adoption of best practices to enhance the quality, efficiency, and sustainability of healthcare services. According to Saudi Press Agency, the award features six categories: emergency care, primary care, life-saving services, maternal and child health, public health promotion and disease prevention, and, for the first time, healthcare service efficiency. The award ceremony will be held in September. The eighth edition introduces an advanced evaluation methodology designed to drive continuous improvement in the performance of healthcare facilities by standardizing evaluation and performance measurement criteria and leveraging data to enhance services. The approach aims to improve the quality of healthcare, increase service efficiency, and de liver a better experience for beneficiaries.
