Paris: During his official visit to France, Saudi Minister of Health Fahad AlJalajel held high-level bilateral meetings with several French ministers, including Minister of Labor, Health, Solidarity, and Family Affairs Catherine Vautrin and Minister for Health and Access to Healthcare Yannick Neuder.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Minister AlJalajel discussed with the French ministers ways to expand bilateral cooperation and strengthen health-sector partnerships, including collaboration in scientific research, healthcare innovation, workforce development, and the integration of health and social development.
The talks also explored investment opportunities and potential alliances under the Health Sector Transformation Program, a key component of Saudi Vision 2030.
Underscoring the strong health ties and growing partnership between the two countries, the health minister witnessed the signing of three memoranda of understanding (MoUs) in the presence of the French ministers.
One of the MoUs was signed between the Saudi Red Crescent Authority (SRCA) and Assistance Publique - Hopitaux de Paris (AP-HP) to enhance emergency medical services in Saudi Arabia by applying best practices from the French model and fostering cooperation in specialized research fields.
