Health Minister Begins Official Visit to Indonesia to Boost Cooperation

Jakarta: Minister of Health Fahad Al-Jalajel begins an official visit to Indonesia today to explore healthcare sector partnership opportunities, exchange expertise in digital health transformation, and strengthen cooperation in areas like medical tourism and healthcare professional training, in line with Saudi Arabia's goals to enhance health service quality and promote sector sustainability.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Al-Jalajel is scheduled to meet with senior officials to discuss collaboration in advancing digital health systems, improving primary healthcare services, and boosting the quality and efficiency of health facilities, leveraging the successful experiences of both countries.

He will also tour several leading healthcare institutions to gain insights into best practices and share knowledge on advancing healthcare system development.

This visit is part of Saudi Arabia's ongoing efforts to transform its healthcare system through the Health Sector Transformation Program, a key initiative of Vision 2030 aimed at restructuring the health sector for greater efficiency and sustainability, while fostering international partnerships to elevate healthcare in line with global standards.
