Makkah: The second annual Health and Safety in Hajj Forum began Sunday in Makkah, organized by the General Department of Medical Services at the Ministry of Interior, represented by the Security Forces Hospital. Workshops are being held from Dhu Al-Qi'dah 20 to 22, 1446 AH, focusing on technological innovation in crisis management during Hajj, building innovation models from concept to implementation, and health innovation and business models, with examples related to crowd management.
According to Saudi Press Agency, a Health and Safety Hackathon is scheduled for Dhu Al-Qi'dah 28 and 29. On Dhu Al-Hijjah 1 and 2, the forum will feature an exhibition, panel discussions, and scientific lectures at the Ministry of Interior Personnel Club in Makkah, with participation from experts in relevant fields.
The forum aims to strengthen coordination between health and security agencies during the Hajj season by sharing expertise, showcasing smart crisis management solutions, and developing professional competencies. Registration is available at https://www.sfhm.med.sa/hajj1446.
