President of the Directorate of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Turkiye, Sheikh Ali Erbas, highlighted the significant role of the “Communication with the Departments of Religious Affairs, Ifta, and Sheikhdoms in the World” Conference in enhancing Muslim unity, bringing together their voices, and unifying their ranks.

This came during his participation in the conference held in Makkah, which commenced yesterday with delegations from 85 countries around the world.

Sheikh Ali indicated Islam, being a religion of peace and security, necessitates the unity of all Muslims in order to protect and strengthen this unity, defend it, and collaborate towards the creation of a stable and secure Islamic world.

He highlighted that guidance and happiness are achieved through adhering to the teachings of the Holy Quran and the Sunnah, which call for tolerance, compassion, and justice among all people.

Moreover, Sheikh Ali expressed his regret over events that lead to destabilizing some Islamic countries and subjecting them to bloody violence, due to deviating from the true teachings of the Quran, Sunnah, and Islamic texts left by the righteous predecessors. These teachings fundamentally stipulate moderation, tolerance, and the promotion of values of justice, equality, and harmonious coexistence, he noted.

He also commended the Kingdom’s substantial role and exceptional efforts in promoting global security and peace, extending his gratitude to the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call, and Guidance, along with all organizers and participants of the conference.
