‘Hawi’ Surpasses 111,000 Members and 3,500 Hobby Clubs in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh: The National Portal for Hobbies, "Hawi," an initiative of the Quality of Life Program, continues its growth across Saudi Arabia, registering 111,167 members, 3,533 hobby clubs, and 4,123 events covering 233 different hobbies.

According to Saudi Press Agency, this growth reflects the expanding base of hobbyists in the Kingdom and the increasingly organized communities around them, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. Hawi works to develop the hobbies sector and empower its practitioners by providing a structured environment for individuals to establish and join hobby clubs, organize activities and events, access suitable spaces and facilities, and connect with those who share their interests. It also builds partnerships with governmental, private, and non-profit entities, enhancing community participation and contributing to the diversification of quality of life options.

Quality of Life Program Center CEO Khalid bin Abdullah Al-Bakr noted that the current developments extend beyond the mere increase in clubs and members. The transformation of hobbies from individual interests into communities is providing members with spaces to connect, learn, participate, and create initiatives.

In the next phase, Hawi aims to expand its network of clubs and hobbies across the Kingdom's cities and governorates, enhance the sustainability and quality of club activities, and enable more diverse member experiences, contributing to building more active and engaged communities.
