Hajj Security Forces Arrest Resident for False Hajj Ads, Sheltering 14 Violators

Makkah: Hajj Security Forces, in coordination with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, arrested an Egyptian resident for promoting deceptive advertisements targeting visit visa holders, falsely promising them Hajj without a permit. The individual was caught aiding and sheltering 14 violators of Hajj regulations in a residential building in Makkah for a fee.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Public Security urged everyone to comply with Hajj regulations and instructions, which are intended to ensure the safety and security of pilgrims and help them perform their rituals with ease. It also encouraged the public to report violators by calling 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and Eastern regions, and 999 in other regions of the Kingdom.
