Makkah: Hajj security forces arrested five Malaysian residents for violating Hajj regulations by attempting to enter Makkah through unpaved roads and valleys without a Hajj permit. They were detained and legal procedures were initiated against them. According to Saudi Press Agency, the General Directorate of Mujahideen urged everyone to adhere to the regulations governing the 1447 AH Hajj season and to cooperate with the relevant authorities to ensure the safety and security of the pilgrims. It emphasized that violations will result in legal penalties. The directorate also encouraged reporting any violations by calling 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and Eastern regions, and 999 in the rest of the Kingdom.
