Mecca: The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah showcased its leading technological projects and initiatives designed to serve pilgrims at the second 'Hajj Media Hub,' held on Dhu Al-Hijjah 5-8, 1446 AH.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the event featured the unveiling of the Nusuk app, a unified digital platform that enables pilgrims to issue permits, book services, access guides, and receive multilingual alerts. This platform aims to enhance mobility, ease access to information, and support the smooth performance of rituals.
The Ministry also highlighted the digital Nusuk Card. This card consolidates pilgrim personal, health, and residential data, playing a crucial role in verification processes at camp and facility entrances. It enhances organizational accuracy, controls entry, and prevents unauthorized access.
Further innovations presented included smart dispatching systems and digital guidance applications that utilize AI technologies to improve movement within the holy sites. The Ministry also showcased its monitoring and control center, an integrated technical system that links various monitoring platforms. This system analyzes real-time data to issue precise field directives for crowd management and pilgrim safety.
A significant new launch was Nusuk AI, an AI-powered smart assistant that allows pilgrims to ask questions vocally or in writing and receive instant answers in over 100 languages.
