Jeddah: The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced the expansion of "Nusuk Care" centers, adding over 39 centers and 142 additional service points during the Hajj season. These facilities will be located in key areas, including Makkah, Madinah, Jeddah, the holy sites, and at land, sea, and air ports. This expansion complements the efforts of 15 permanent centers that provide services to pilgrims year-round.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Nusuk Care is an integrated service system introduced by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in 2019, designed to enhance the experience of pilgrims by offering humanitarian, guidance, and health services in real time. Qualified field teams are stationed in strategic locations to serve as the initial point of contact for pilgrims, addressing their reports and inquiries while providing immediate solutions to various challenges.
Since its inauguration in 2019, these centers have delivered over eight million services, including guidance, complaint reception, and primary health services such as immediate aid and vital sign measurements. The teams work with qualified national personnel fluent in 11 languages, including sign language, to facilitate communication with a diverse range of pilgrims from various nationalities and cultural backgrounds.
The centers are technically linked to the "Nusuk" platform, which enables instant coordination of data among service providers and supports swift decision-making based on field information. Additionally, the centers utilize advanced electronic tools to assess pilgrim satisfaction in real time, allowing for service enhancements driven by direct feedback.
