Makkah: Minister of Hajj and Umrah Tawfig Al-Rabiah conducted inspections of several locations within the holy sites yesterday, in accordance with the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
According to Saudi Press Agency, these inspections aimed to ensure all preparations are in place for the arrival of pilgrims for this year's Hajj season 1446 AH, and assess the readiness of facilities, infrastructure, and services to guarantee the comfort and safety of the pilgrims.
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced that over 600,000 pilgrims have arrived so far, representing approximately 42% of the total expected pilgrim arrivals for this year. Relevant authorities continue to intensify their efforts to ensure a seamless and well-organized Hajj season, leveraging state-of-the-art infrastructure and a comprehensive service system designed to meet the needs of pilgrims, while reflecting the Kingdom's unwavering commitment to serving visitors to the two holy mosques.
