Makkah: Kadana Development Company, the executive arm of the Royal Commission for Makkah City and the Holy Sites, has successfully completed the distribution of one million awareness brochures aimed at educating the guests of God. This initiative, conducted in partnership with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, is designed to enhance the awareness of pilgrims regarding the guidelines and instructions during the stoning of the Jamarat, ensuring their safety and ease of movement within Mina during the Hajj season of 1446 AH.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the brochures have been translated into nine different languages to effectively reach a diverse group of pilgrims. These materials outline the mechanism for stoning the Jamarat using the lane and one-way systems. They emphasize the importance of adhering to signboards within the Jamarat facility, guiding pilgrims through correct and safe pathways. Additionally, the brochures advise on the necessity of following grouping times, identifying Mashair Train stations, avoiding heavy luggage, and refraining from sitting in the courtyards and roads leading to the Jamarat, all of which contribute to smooth movement and enhanced safety for pilgrims.
The media messages from Kadana also introduce practical steps for the Towards Mina project, a component of the spatial guidance initiative. Pilgrims are instructed to memorize the color and number of their camp area, photograph signboard information at gate entrances, and follow the corresponding signboards and colored poles. Laser lighting poles assist pilgrims in locating their camp sites from a distance. Each floor of the Jamarat facility is marked with a specific color, aiding in the correct selection of routes during the ritual.
This initiative is part of Kadana's ongoing efforts, in collaboration with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, to enrich the pilgrimage experience. By enhancing awareness of the guidelines and instructions that align with the Hajj plan, the campaign contributes to a safe and organized journey, allowing pilgrims to perform their rituals with ease and peace of mind.
