Hajj and Umrah Ministry Warns Against Unofficial Channels for Pilgrims

Riyadh: The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah warned those wishing to perform Hajj against dealing with unofficial channels, stressing that entry for the pilgrimage must be through an official Hajj visa issued by the relevant Saudi authorities.

According to Saudi Press Agency, visas can be arranged in coordination with Hajj affairs offices in 80 countries or via the "Nusuk Hajj" platform, designated for pilgrims from over 126 countries, which allows for direct booking through the platform.

The ministry stressed that the "electronic portal" on its official website (https://masar.nusuk.sa) and the 'Nusuk' app are the only approved channels for domestic pilgrims-citizens and residents within the Kingdom-to book Hajj packages.

It affirmed that any information or offers circulated through unofficial channels are misleading and do not represent the ministry or relevant authorities, urging the public to verify information and avoid falling for false advertisements or fraudulent Hajj offers.

The ministry provides 24-hour multilingual support through Guests Care Centers for inquiries and reports. It can be reached via the unified number 1966 within the Kingdom, the international number +966920002814 from outside the Kingdom, and the email [email protected]. The service reflects the ministry's commitment to assisting pilgrims and ensuring they can perform Hajj with ease and peace of mind.
